Here’s the view of the clouds + the sun from my room. Looking at this picture made me recall a song we used to sing a whole terrible lot at Sunday school (Behold he comes riding from the clouds // Blah blah blah // At the trumpet call // So lift your voice it’s the year of jubillee // Out of Zion’s hill, salvation comes).

“Mom”
I saw this at my Facebook Timeline. The image depicts a mother and her daughter; the two proponents meet at the beginning and bid their farewell in the end. My heart was touched both in a sense of happiness and grief. I am reminded of how much I love my mom. I declare every single day of my life to be mother’s day. Without her, I wouldn’t be here.

“Ged and Ces”
A lot of things have changed since the first day we both told each other “I heart you”. When I first met you, I thought you were the most perfect person I could ever be with, but time has a way of shaking what you believe in. The 3 years of being with you was indeed a rollercoaster ride, a balance of ups and downs. But it’s also the 3 years of being with you that made me realize that “perfect” does not really exist in this place, and the closest thing that can come close to “perfect” is “beautiful”. In between the time of May 3, 2010 and May 3, 2013, you taught me about love. It’s funny because none of us knew about it in the first place, yet we taught each other how it really is. Love is never the perfect place, the perfect time, the perfect words nor the perfect mood altogether. Love is seeing beyond imperfection and love is about holding on no matter what happens.
It’s been 3 years since I’ve met the most beautiful person I will ever know…
